Camille Larson 08L

Camille grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and attended the University of Florida for undergraduate studies.  In 2005, she enrolled in Emory Law School as a Woodruff Scholar.  She graduated from Law School in 2008. Camille returned to Tallahassee and began her career with the Florida Department of Children and Families in 2010.  She first worked with Children’s Legal Services, where she handled a large caseload advocating for children suffering from abuse and neglect. Camille became an Assistant Region Counsel in 2014 and her responsibilities broadened to include adult abuse cases, appellate matters, administrative cases, public assistance matters, contract negotiations and human resource management.  In 2022, Camille became the Northwest Region Counsel for the Florida Department of Children and Families.  She supervises attorneys and paralegals across 14 counties in North Florida.  Her practice is dedicated to advocating for Florida’s most vulnerable populations and working with community partners to ensure the best outcomes on all cases.  She also enjoys personally participating in community engagement projects, as well as reading and traveling with her family.
