Elsa works as a research nurse practitioner with Dr. Jeanie Park’s human integrative physiology lab based in Emory University’s School of Medicine and the Atlanta VA Medical Center. She has previous experience caring for patients at Emory University Hospital while working as a registered nurse on then 10E, General Surgery and the Rollins Pavilion. Elsa graduated from Virginia Tech with an undergraduate degree in the biological sciences. Afterwards she worked as a microbiology lab technician at Georgia State University, Perimeter campus, while completing her bachelor's of science degree in nursing. She recently completed her graduate studies at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University in the adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner program.
