Jeanne is a Principal AI Research Engineer at Resect AI, where she researches AI explainability. She completed her PhD in Behavioral and Systems Neuroscience at Emory's Laney Graduate School, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Emory School of Medicine, where she worked under Drs. Abeed Sarker and Lucas Mckay on natural language processing applications for health, with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases. She holds a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and psychology from Cornell University and was previously a postbaccalaureate IRTA fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

During her time at Emory, Jeanne served on the Woodruff Student-Alumni Committee and was a regular attendee and speaker at the Woodruff lunch and learns, which got her out of her departmental bubble and connected her with the diverse group of people that makes the fellowship community so valuable to her. She also served as outreach chair for the Graduate Chapter of the Association for Women in Science and organizes a team each year for the Winship 5K, a cancer research fundraiser that holds a very special place in her heart.
