Studying abroad in China was the top highlight of my undergraduate experience. Through funding from the Woodruff Scholars Program, I had the life-changing opportunity to reside in Nanjing and Beijing over a span of three months and learn about the country's rapid modernization and economic development. It was an eye-opening experience!

Even after graduating, I have found a profound sense of connection and belonging in the Woodruff alumni community. I will never forget the inaugural Woodruff Alumni Leadership Summit held at Emory campus in March 2022. It was a two-day event packed with thought-provoking talks and roundtables on key questions surrounding media platforms to civic engagement. I left feeling inspired by the alumni community and motivated by their profound impact on local communities, society, and the world at-large.
