One of my fondest Woodruff memories is when fellow Woodruffs Anders Olsen 18C 23M and Ash Parikh 18B hosted me in Atlanta.
Moving to a new city is intimidating for a freshman. Even worse when you don't have a place to sleep. I was enrolled in a course at Georgia Tech for the Spring semester, which began 1 week before the Emory semester and 1 week before I could move in to my dorm. I needed a place to stay in Atlanta. Without hesitation, both offered to host me for a few days. We had a great time, and I owe it to the community that came with the Woodruff scholarship.
