Being named a Woodruff Fellow was a defining moment in my academic journey at Emory University. From the first-year luncheon, it was clear that the fellowship would enrich my experience, fostering lasting friendships and connections across all seven schools.
The Woodruff community, united by shared values of scholarship and service, broadened my perspective beyond my department. My favorite events were the Lunch & Learns, where I enjoyed the chance to learn about topics outside my expertise while connecting with fellow scholars.
Being a Woodruff Fellow has been an honor that significantly shaped my academic and personal growth. To engage more deeply, I joined the Student Alumni Committee in my final year and now serve on the Alumni Advisory Board to give back to this vibrant community.
